In this episode of The Rough Concept, I am I take you through the experience that birthed Woman in Bloom, the collection that changed everything for my creative career. I am joined by Cortney Herron, a contemporary figurative painter based out of Los Angeles, California. Her work is characterized by bold yet calming color palettes that bring a sense of tranquility and peace. As a full-time artist, primarily working in the acrylic, oil, and digital mediums, Cortney also lends her creativity to various brands through special collaborations, commissions, and partnerships, including Bombay Sapphire, Dagne Dover, Society6, and Refinery29. - Capture inspiration and create something beautiful: When inspiration strikes, be ready to capture it and transform it into something beautiful.
Creative Prompt: Think back to the last time you felt that initial creative spark. What emotions were driving that connection? Take some time this week to connect with those emotions and let them guide your creative process. There's no right or wrong way to go about it. It's YOUR way that matters. Remember, it's the feelings behind the creative connection that make it so addicting and powerful.
